GDC Middle East (GDCME) is a Saudi company with 80% ownership by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and 20% by Ajwa Aviation Holdings. Established in 2015 with headquarters in Riyadh, GDCME specializes in the aircraft engineering sector. The company offers comprehensive solutions for aviation systems, operations, and support, distinguished by its capability to maintain aircraft to the highest quality and safety standards, meeting the technical challenges and global requirements in the aviation and defense industries.
Key Tasks & Duties:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resource allocation. Define project goals and deliverables.
- Team Leadership: Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, which may include engineers, technicians, aviation experts, and other specialists. Provide clear directions, set expectations, and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Continuously monitor and assess project risks and make adjustments as needed to keep the project on track.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects stay within budgetary constraints. Report on financial status regularly.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials as needed to complete the project successfully. Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all aviation projects comply with relevant aviation regulations and safety standards set forth by the appropriate aviation regulation such as the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) or Military Regulation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular project updates and reports.
- Quality: Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and audits as necessary.
- Schedule Management: Monitor project progress against the established timeline and make adjustments as needed to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Change Management: Be prepared to handle changes or deviations from the original project plan. Assess the impact of changes on scope, timeline, and budget and obtain necessary approvals.
- Contract Management: Oversee contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors involved in the project. Ensure that contract terms and obligations are met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and reports. Keep records of all project-related activities and decisions.
- Problem-Solving: Address project issues and challenges promptly, seeking solutions and making decisions to keep the project on track.
- Safety: Prioritize safety throughout the project, implementing safety measures to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
- Closeout: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed, quality standards are met, and the project is closed out effectively. Conduct post-project evaluations and gather lessons learned for future improvements.
- Ensure compliance with GDC ME quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and requirements.
- Promptly report any unsafe working conditions, faulty equipment, hazards/risks, injuries, or incidents related to personnel safety and environmental aspects.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy procedures and awareness programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
المهارات
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or an equivalent level
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
- Must have working knowledge of program management methodologies. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and other associated Microsoft software.
- PMP,CAPM Certifications are preferable.
