Job Requirements:
Serves as the 15H Aircraft Pneudraulics Instructor under the guidance of the Aviation Institute's Technical Department Training Manager. This role involves delivering instruction for the 15H MOS Qualification Course, including academic teaching, hands-on performance training, evaluations, and developing course schedules to ensure students meet proficiency and maintenance standards. Additionally, responsible for maintaining accurate Student Training Records.
Major Duties and Responsibilites:
• Perform all the above duties, including POI technical writing, courseware development, and periodic revisions as needed.
• Create, implement, and modify curriculum to meet course learning objectives.
• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction using various teaching techniques and Technical Publications to prepare students for MOS Qualification.
• Perform duties in a culturally sensitive environment while maintaining a professional attitude, appearance, and approach.
• Manage and maintain the assigned classroom, including equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Pass an instructor qualification course in the first 90 days of hire.
• Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.
Skills Description
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma.
• Graduate of the US Army 15H Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer course or an equivalent military/civilian program.
• At least 6 years of experience as an Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer or equivalent experience.
• Capable of developing syllabi and providing instruction to 15H Pneudraulics Repairer candidates.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, operations, and logistics.
• Proven ability to manage a team to achieve organizational goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; must be experienced in using Adobe Pro and other relevant programs and applications.
Perefeerd Qualifications:
• Former Army service school instructor or equivalent civilian experience.
• Experience in aviation quality control or production control.
• FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Certification.
• Secondary education or degree.
• 15 years of combined experience in military and civilian MOS training, maintenance, repair, and aviation operations.
