Job Description

1- Contract Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the FMS contract, responsible for its overall management, administration, and compliance with U.S. government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, ITAR).

2- Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of contracts administrators, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support FMS contract activities.

3- Contract Negotiation and Execution: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., program management, business development) and external partners (e.g., U.S. government agencies, foreign governments) to negotiate and execute contract modifications, amendments, and other related agreements.

4- Compliance and Risk Management :Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to FMS contracts, including export controls (ITAR/EAR), anti-corruption laws (FCPA), and other international trade regulations.

5- Financial Management: Oversee contract financial management activities, including invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition, in accordance with U.S. government regulations and company policies.

6- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and foreign governments to facilitate effective communication, issue resolution, and contract performance.

7- Contract Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze contract performance metrics (e.g., delivery schedules, payment terms) to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identify potential risks or issues.

8- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to optimize FMS contract management activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of U.S. government regulations (FAR, DFARS, ITAR) and international trade laws (FCPA).
  • Experience with contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
