Engine specialist

Task and Duties:

1.Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining T56, D22, and (GTC/APU) engines on C-130 aircraft.

2.Troubleshoot engine systems on C-130 aircraft using available tools and perform necessary repairs.

3.Remove and replace the engine or its components, including (GTC/APU), on C-130 aircraft.

4.Analyz fault indicators, identify recurring issues, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with squadron personnel to eliminate root causes.

5.Perform all types of scheduled periodic maintenance on C-130 aircraft and their systems.

6.Ensure engine performance quality through necessary testing on the Test Cell engine inspection device.

7.Identify materials and spare parts needed for engine repairs during scheduled maintenance and plan for their availability at least a week in advance for each aircraft.

8.Provide practical training to Saudi technicians in his specialty up to the seventh technical level, ensuring that trainees can perform the tasks outlined in the job description, with a focus on the tasks specified in this document.

9.Operate C-130 engines to test performance efficiency and adjust them according to performance standards in technical manuals.

Qualification and Experience:

1.Qualified in disassembly and assembly of the T56, D22 engines, and (GTC/APU) on C130 aircraft.

2.Five years of practical experience in the maintenance of C130 aircraft engines, specifically T56 and D22 models.

3.Qualified to perform tasks specified in the job description within his area of expertise.

4.Qualified to apply instructions, technical manuals, technical bulletins, and manufacturer guidelines.

5.Qualified to schedule and program preventive and routine maintenance tasks.

6.Qualified to troubleshoot and efficiently repair engine issues on C130 aircraft.

7.Qualified to implement and apply safety standards in industrial facilities, airfields, aircraft hangars, and ground safety.

8.Qualified to train Saudi technicians in his area of expertise, with a focus on the specified tasks.

9.Qualified to maintain the T56, D22 engines, and (GTC/APU) on C130 aircraft according to required specifications.
