Job Description:
The GDC ME Housing Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of housing for the expatriate workforce across residential compounds. This role ensures seamless housing operations, including tracking inbound and outbound personnel, assigning accommodations based on internal policy, maintaining accurate records in document databases, and coordinating logistics such as moves and compound access. The coordinator plays a critical role in fostering a smooth, stress-free living environment for employees and their families, supporting their well-being and operational efficiency.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Reports to the Plans Director, regularly consulting and providing updates to maintain compliance, optimize operational efficiency and the GDC ME future housing vision.
- Personnel Tracking: Monitor and track inbound and outbound expatriate personnel to ensure accurate housing allocation and availability.
- Accommodation Assignment: Assign housing to inbound personnel based on compound policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Database Management: Update and maintain all housing-related records in SharePoint databases, ensuring accuracy and real-time accessibility for stakeholders.
- Move Coordination: Organize and oversee moves, including coordinating with moving companies, scheduling, and ensuring timely execution.
- Compound Access: Facilitate access to compounds for personnel, vendors, and service providers, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage daily housing operations, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a calm and supportive living environment for residents.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams, compound management, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of housing-related matters.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all housing processes comply with organizational policies and local regulations and provide regular reports on housing status and occupancy.
- SOP Adherence Ensures housing operations align with GDC ME Housing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for conducting an annual security assessment of all compounds within GDC ME area of responsibility.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as directed by management to support organizational goals and housing operations.
Skills Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
- 2+ years of experience in property management, housing coordination, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and database management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree with emphasis in Property Management.
- 4+ years of experience in housing or facilities management, preferably in an international or expatriate context.
- Knowledge of KSA cultural and residential regulations.
- Experience coordinating logistics with moving companies or third-party vendors.
- Familiarity with expatriate workforce needs and family support services.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
