MD530 General Mechanic (A&P)

Job Requirements:

• Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies and components (e.g., engines, rotors, transmissions, flight controls, etc.).  Performs scheduled and unscheduled services on aircraft, subassemblies, components, and aerospace ground support equipment.
•        Assists in preparing aircraft for inspections and services
•        Performs scheduled inspections and services; annotates logbook and records.
•        Accomplishes operator maintenance on ground equipment, test sets, and special tools.
•        Solves moderate problems by conducting analysis using manufacturer technical documentation.
•        Uses available online manuals and industry-standardized documentation to access critical information for services.
•        Works with supply personnel to order and receive parts per work order instructions.
•        Accomplishes other support tasks as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager.
•        High School Graduate or 5 years of direct relevant experience.
•        Holds an FAA (or equivalent) A&P Certificate.

Major Duties And Responsibilities:

•          Ensures all maintenance functions conducted on the MD-500 series aircraft are performed IAW all current applicable technical publications and established procedures.
•        Responsible for the compliance of established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.
•        Responsible for the daily maintenance of individually assigned aircraft.
•        Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards.
•        Reports to direct inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of MD-500 series aircraft and supporting maintenance activities.
•        Responsible for the individual general maintenance training, job book currency and qualifications of assigned Customer maintenance personnel.
•        Performs activities and requirements for maintenance operations support through the Maintenance Manager/lead mechanic as required or applicable
•        Coordinates through lead mechanic for daily and weekly maintenance training activities.
•        Supports a professional development program in support of Saudization-localization.
•        Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ·      5 years of aviation mechanic experience (Experience within the last year)
• ·      High school diploma
• ·      Graduate from a U.S. or Saudi Military (or civilian equivalent) aircraft general mechanic maintenance course
• ·      Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Certification (FAA, GACA, ICAO, or recognized equivalent)
•    Read and speak Aviation English
