Job Description
Task and Duties:
1) Implement health and safety policies.
2) Contribute to the implementation of the Safety Management System
3) Provide safety training to the employees.
4) Ensure safe work practices.
5) Investigate the work / safety accident and take necessary corrective measures.
6) Ensure safe and healthy work environment within all GDCME facilities and hangars.
7) Ensure that all employees are informed about the safety policies, rules and regulation of the company and the related authorities.
8) Regularly update safety records and manuals.
9) Develop a set of minimum safety rules and prevention standards. for the office and the hangars.
10) Develop and implement safety promotional materials for Office and Hangar environments.
11) Develop strategies to disseminate Company safety rules and regulation on a regular basis to employees.
12) Plan and monitor the safety awareness of the company employees.
13) Prepare educational materials including technical and informational articles, presentations, workshops and orientation materials.
14) Report violations of safety standards on-site.
15) Performance Audit
16) Provide Safety recommendation to Safety Manager regarding all work related issues.
17) Provide support to all Safety & Quality Management members.
18) Inspect the daily normal operation activities for safety deficiencies.
19) Use company resources efficiently.
Skills Description
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualification:
Safety Diploma is preferred.
Special Certifications:
SMS, NEBOSH, IOSH certificates are highly recognized and preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in the aviation field
