Task and Duties:
1. Assists in preparing the annual audit plan/calendar.2. Conducts internal audits (scheduled and unscheduled) on company processes to ensure compliance to GDCME company standards, customer, and aviation authority requirements.
3. Coordinates, follows-up, evaluates and determines the acceptance or rejection of response/corrective actions to all the findings generated during audits.4. Conducts regular surveillances of GDCME back shops, facilities and aircraft undergoing maintenance to ensure that all technical departments, functions and maintenance performed are in compliance with manufacturer, regulatory, customer and company standards and requirements.
5. Ensures the effective management of vendors including evaluation, renewals, approvals and monitoring to make sure that aircraft parts are purchased only from approved sources.6. Performs external audits to verify the capabilities of approved maintenance organizations contracted to perform maintenance work on GDCME maintained aircraft, engines, and/or components.
7. Liaises/assists during customer and regulatory audits, including the distribution of audit reports, and collection, evaluation, and submission of the corresponding corrective actions to the audit findings noted by the concerned organization.8. Liaises/assist during customer and regulatory investigations including the distribution of investigation reports, and collection, evaluation, and submission of the appropriate corrective actions (to preclude re-occurrence of maintenance error) to the subject organization.
9. Assists during the renewal of the repair stations certificates/approvals.10. In coordination with Safety, ensures that standard health and safety practices are maintained and being adhered to by all departments.
11. Ensures that new and updated civil aviation regulations and company policies and procedure are monitored and implemented.12. Conducts in-depth technical investigation after occurrence of accidents, incidents, maintenance deviations and other safety-related events.
13. Assists in building-up in-house shop capabilities, seek regulatory approval, and monitor approved capability for compliance to requirements.14. Mentors or trains new Quality Assurance Auditor regarding the policies and procedures of Quality Assurance Section.
15. Contributes, develops, and revises existing company policies and procedures.16. To comply with GDC ME quality, health, safety and environmental policies and requirements.
17. Promptly report any unsafe working conditions, faulty equipment, hazards/risks, injuries or incidents related to personnel safety and environmental aspects.18. Performs other tasks that may be required by Quality & Safety management for the benefit of the company and department.
